Welcome to Woofstock Charities

Woofstock was started in 2005 in Mobile Alabama. Woofstock was founded by Amanda Kramer and formed to become a platform for the homeless pet population in Mobile Al. It started as a music festival that has raised money for a non-profit the Animal Rescue Foundation for 13 years. The music festival continues to be held in Mobile by the Shelter independently. Woofstock was formed 13 years ago to help ensure a better life for domesticated animals and the people who love them. Woofstock Charities board members and event staff saw the need in many other cities and countries that had been struck by a disaster. Woofstock Charities was formed in 2017 after a devastating hurricane in Turks and Caicos. Woofstock Charities mission changed due to the increasing need for animal welfare education, military support animals, free spay and neuter programs, and the emotional importance to keep the families on their feet so that they can keep their beloved pets during hard times. Woofstock Charities is dedicated to helping local non-profits form events that help provide low cost/free spay and neutering to those in need and to continue the local rescue support that every community depends on. Woofstock Charities main focus is keeping families and their pets together by aiding BOTH the families and the pets in times of need. If you are interested in WC assisting your rescue with their efforts to help the homeless pet population and the families that have been hit by a disaster please contact us here.
